Nelo Athlete Data Analysis is available from Monday to Friday. Also, the Airport Transfer is only available from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
Nelo Collection Process
• Data collection: We install a small movement sensor (IMU) in the kayak. The equipment records all the data during a normal training session.
• Analysis: Live feedback and correcting measures will be suggested live and at the end of the training session, the data is downloaded and processed by our analysis software.
• Reporting and Optimization: We generate a clear report that transforms the data into practical insights. Based on this analysis, we identify the precise modifications – whether in the athlete’s technique or the boat’s adjustments – to extract maximum performance.
Metrics to Analyze
• Roll: Measures the lateral balance of the boat. If it is too much or unbalanced, the athlete is wasting energy balancing instead of using it to gain speed.
• Pitch: Measures the “heading” movement of the boat. If it is accentuated, it indicates a loss of fluidity and speed, with the bow sinking too much with each stroke.
• X-axis Acceleration: Measures the forward thrust generated with each stroke, reflecting the real effectiveness of the force applied.
• SPM (Strokes per Minute): Measures the cadence of the stroke.DPS, SPEED.
